We started our school day a bit later today, but still got a lot of things accomplished. In history, we wrapped up our reading about the Minoan civilization on Crete. I found a kid-friendly story of the Minotaur and read it to them. After that we 'walked' over to the Indus river and got our fist glimpse of that great civilization.
Other classes went smoothly. Our new vocabulary learning book is about a teacher and her students in Alaska. The narrator (a little girl) said in the book how much she liked school and wanted to go there. My two kids piped right in that they loved school too, very much. Made my heart glad and it was a good note to end our thirteenth week on.
We will take a nice week long break now.
