2013 Field Trips: BV Museum of Natural History

Andrew has been begging me to take him back to the Museum of Natural History. Finally, the day came and we visited again the exhibits we remembered and a whole new display we had never seen. Both Andrew and Saara love watching shows about wild life. At the museum they were brought a step closer to learning about the species in Texas whose habitat is disappearing and, consequently, also the species itself is vanishing. 
My goal for the visit was to look again at the fossils (especially the sabertooth scull) as Saara has been learning about the prehistoric animals. We saw the scull and many more bones.
What made this trip extra special, was going there with some friends. 

"Poor animals." I heard Andrew and Saar say that a lot while they looked at the exhibit of some of vanishing species of Texas.
